Tesla is a british seismic exploration company based out of Berbera, who worked with Genel before they broke relations and Genel took Tesla to court for unpaid bills lol. Tesla currently can't explore with the court orders, but they purchased (?) blocks between Hargeisa and Berbera. (My company does alot of logistics work for them.)

lol I think it's obvious? Not all blocks have the same amount/consistency of raw oil. Why not control as many blocks as possible, to find and control the richest oil deposits. Fighting for resources is hardly a Somali-only phenomenon. It's too bad though, I feel like our court systems aren't set up strongly enough to prevent and manage the inevitable conflict.

Idiot S/L copied the oil protection unit from us. We have had such a unit since 2011.

Puntland already has a similar force known as the Explorations Security Unit that provides protection for Africa Oil workers

These units are not meant to work as soldiers but as glorified security guards.
