MrPrestige wrote:What you posted is not a Afro sxb nothing against your "18 month" hair Lol. Somalis love arguing for the sake of it.

This is Afro.
Afro definition: a hairstyle consisting of a mass of very tight curls that stick out all round the head, like the natural hair of some black people

My hair is circular and is large thus it qualifying for an afro, it's just not combed if I got a afro pick and evened it out then it'd be more neat, however it is a afro regardless.

Regardless of texture if it is not shaped like a ball in shape it is not a afro. Afro only works for thick hair whether curly, kinky or wavy. It does not work for
straight hair. My brother attempted a afro it did not work for him, rather he looked like Jared Leto. Not everybody is the same sxb not even brothers at
times, you need to accept it.

My hair isn't straight, I don't even comb it and it automatically takes this circular round shape, thus making it a natural afro. There is nothing to accept

MrPrestige, sxb either keep it at that length or trim it down, if you grow your hair any longer it will go haywire and the waves will dissapear. Plus the weather is hot as f, you don't wanna be sweltering in that heat.

in the white man's world afros are a no go. back in the 60s-80s when we were still in Somalia, everyone from that generation grew afros. its only recently we changed.
