So they can't be stopped? Doesn't matter if it is iblis supplying them and using they can still be stopped. There is absolutely zero excuse for the government and just how incompetent it is.Warsheekh wrote:Al shabaab is a proxy used by CIA inorder to keep the conflict ongoing. Re: Somalia is gone
Metamorphosis has the right of it. Alshabab are only a symptom. A painful symptom but a symptom nontheless. The real problem is governmental corruption. The funds that should've been directed into the SNA is going into the pockets of politicians, NGOs and AMISOM. Somalia will not change unless it has the capability to defend and govern itself. As for alshabab, they can be severely crippled in 6 months by a competent, disciplined and well-paid somali force - the key word being somali because as we all know AMISOM isn't interested in defeating alshabab. Within a year, alshabab will have been eradicated militarily. Would there be the odd suicide-bombing or assassination attempt? Of course. But they would occur much less frequently and less successfully. In the meantime, Somalia would have enough time and breathing space to get it's act together and tell foreign agents/forces to fuck off.
Also, a lot of you are directing your hatred towards qoslaaye. It's not just him, it's all those around him, those that were there before him and those that will arrive after him. The whole system is rotten to the core, just listen to Prof Samatar. He says he was surprised when he got to xamar, nobody was talking about solutions or action. They were only talking about themselves and their qabiil.
