It seems people are having a hard time grasping the fact that you can show sympathy for Palestinians (or anybody for that matter) while also being mindful of the suffering of your own people (along with the all the other Muslims). It almost seems like you have to pick a side.

That's the thing though, it ain't about being vocal about both cases which would have been admirable, in fact its one sided. What if I told you some not only believe Somali Government can do no wrong, but also take any criticism about the Somali government as insult to their tribe, and that everything is sunshine and rainbows in Muqdisho all the while lamenting about Palestinians.

I think Jews are too afraid and are still horrified of what supposedly happened to them in Germany. When one goes through such events, he makes sure that kinda history never repeats itself.
