Did you know that prophets Ciisa and Musa AS were black?
Bukhari relates that Ibn Umar said:
“No! I swear by Allah that the prophet (pbuh) didn’t say that Jesus was light-skinned, but he said ‘While I was asleep, I was walking around the Kaaba when I saw an adam (black-skinned) man with non-kinky hair between two men. I asked who the man was and I was told that he was Isa (Jesus) the son of Meryem.’…” Sahih Bukhari - Book 60, Hadith 111
Ibn Abbas said that the prophet Mohamed (pbuh) described Musa’s (Moses’) appearance as follows:
أَمَّا مُوسَى فَرَجُلٌ آدَمُ جَعْدٌ
As for Musa (Moses), he was black-skinned and kinky-haired. (Muslim, hadith 243)
Here, Adam-complexioned means black-skinned. Fundamentally telling us the pre-islamic Arabs believed Adam AS was black. But we know from the hadiths that Adam AS was made from clay/dirt from all parts of the world, so we shouldn't speculate on this one.
And as for those who swear and look down at people with large noses and kinky hair, remember that you'll never amount to anything next to our prophets AS which some of the best were black.
There's nothing beautiful about Caucasian features while at the same time there's nothing ugly about black features.

Re: Did you know that prophets Ciisa and Musa AS were black?
At the same time there were a lot of Sahaba ra that were black, and I'm not talking those with Habashi ancestry but the pure Arabs. For example, Zayd ibn Harithah who was the adopted son of the prophet pbuh, and many others. Most of the pure Arabs(Qahtanites) are really dark unlike the arabised arabs(Adnanite) which mixed even more with Syrians, Turks, Jews and middle-easterners just before and after Islam.
Islam came to rid of supremacy through lineage and skin-complexion, we shouldn't feel superior to anyone as that'll lead to arrogance which leads to hell.

Dr. Yala
The Hadith above is RIDICULOUS. I think it is FAKE. Words like "Kinky Hair" did not exist until 19th century. Get out of here waraa! ALl Prophets were Jews. Especially Prophet Musa saw. LOL

Re: Did you know that prophets Ciisa and Musa AS were black?
What difference does that makes?
There are lots of brothers that became so disillusioned with the impotence of Arabs and what's going on in the world today especially the middle east to the point where their belief-cage is rattled . Whether the prophets were Arabs or Mongols makes no difference. Their message is what's important and no amount of worthless black/brown or white shade should make a difference.
Besides, it's not like your black anyway.
Black is just a worthless color and a paint job for this shell of a body.
The soul is what counts so let me know if you have any info on the shade of our essence.
Stupid Somalis will soon be calling themselves black Muslims. inalilahi wainalilahi rajiun
Obviously your trying to convince yourself that Arabs are not superior and as a black skinny... Ilaahay waad u siman tihiin.Islam came to rid of supremacy through lineage and skin-complexion, we shouldn't feel superior to anyone as that'll lead to arrogance which leads to hell.

I call bullshit on this one.
Other racial groups were advancing in science/technology/medicine and building/conquering empires and expanding their cultural/religious influence while on the other hand, Africans were waiting for their dinner to fall from the trees and then going home to sleep in their makeshift huts made of cowshit.
Ah well.

I didn't know about Issa but Moses' complexion is a no brainier. The Jews were in Egypt for half a millennium, Moses' progenitors had a span of 500 years to savour the native bronze skinned delicacies to their satisfaction.

These are sahih hadiths which you can't actually argue against, and their original arabic is right there for anyone who understands it. And obviously you can search up the hadith number.
And for those ignorant racist comments, I'll make dua for youse.

if the person can,t understand any part of hadith or quran "he /she should go and sit with ulama or islamic scholars and ask them "that what alah commands us "fasaluu ahla dikri"
translation between two languages always not same word by word "
when we look at the translation of faadam"it is not black it is between white and brown "
when the arabs and israels children born are white but when the person grew up specially in the middle east with hot sun his colour changes "brown"or similar because of sun nad heat
zaid bin haritha was not black but his son usama was because his mother was abasinian or habasha "peace be upon them all"
"basra"The Hadith is notRIDICULOUS. and it is not FAKE but the way he demonstrate is wrong"
Came from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them saying peace be upon him: (As Moses brown particle (huge)body like a tribe of men Zt) [Bukhari].
So Moses, peace be upon him, described in this hadith stating that the brown color man particle of the body is obese and that Harmonic hair and it is feared. The man who in the inscription, which say that Moses, it seems that particle tall, this analogy to the magnitude and the length of the head that appears in the engraving, and his hair seems consistent look and it prestige, power and clear
this is a correct meaning of hadith" hope understand

Lool. Nigga there are different scholars, and they translate it in different ways. So you're allowed your opinion.
But the mainstream say adam means brown like the mud, and if it meant normal middle-eastern colour it'd have red-faced.
Actually the hadith negates the fact that Isa as was normal middle-eastern skin colour, but rather brown like dirt/mud.
Anyways, for Musa as the hadith says it has tight kinky hair, giving you hints of what he looks like.

Re: Did you know that prophets Ciisa and Musa AS were black?
Aadam doesn't mean black, aadam meants the colour of sand/dirt, so you can say he was brown, just like most assyrians. As for Musa (AS), the hadith doesn't say he had kinky curls, it said he had curly hair and was dark brown, there is also another riwaya in which the prophet compares Musa to a tribe from southern Yemen.
Re: Did you know that prophets Ciisa and Musa AS were black?
Bullshit!!
Jamal I advise you to learn more arabic before posting such a afro-centeric crap!!
Jacd is an arabic/semitic feature/malami3 arabiya asilah!!
It means to crul, its the opposite of sabt(stright) so adam had sabt hair while mose was ajcad
Here are the sources from lisan al arab, ibnu manzour etc
The black/jareer hair is called mofalfal/qatit
