Apples and oranges my friend. 9 times out of 10, Somali restaurants cater to somalis exclusively. You will never see a non-somali in a somali makhaayad. Whereas coffee shops cater to everyone.

If somali restaurant owners were clever they'd hire beautiful women.

Adali, many somali makhayad dont even have menus.you need to be familiar with somali cuisine and some odayal dont speak english. So it doesnt make sense employing non somalis.

Liquid, some.makhayad in london employ asian cooks.but they dont pay well.i know ppl who get 30-5 pound cooking for 12 hours.
