Why did you become an atheist? Did you reject both faiths because they send people to hell or because you thought they were false?

both reasons but the main reason was that their are too many "good" Gods to choose from. How is God of Abraham any different from Krishna, Buddha and Somali's own Waaq?

I think your answer clearly demonstrates that you probably didn't think through your decision.visious wrote:both reasons but the main reason was that their are too many "good" Gods to choose from. How is God of Abraham any different from Krishna, Buddha and Somali's own Waaq?
So, what if you KNEW that Christianity is true but it still promised hell fire. Would you still have rejected it?
What if you KNEW that Christianity is false but it DID NOT promise hellfire, would you have accepted it?
I am trying to get the reason between those two answers (I'll leave the many "good Gods" part first.
