Omar Abdirashid Sharmarke is probably the most over-qualified Somali ambassador in history.
He was a conflict resolution adviser to the UN in Sri Lanka and Darfur and has multiple degrees in Poli Sci.
He is a former PM of Somalia, and helped create the Jubaland Administration.

It is virtually impossible for someone who is not darood/hawiye to become President of Somalia.
It has never happened in the past 55 years.
The same can be said about the PM position however Egal, an Isaaq, managed to become PM for 2 years in the sixties.
