After his meetings with the Prime Minister and President, Barre held talks with the UN special envoy Nicholas Kay, EU, and also hosted a talk on the subject of peace and reconciliation attended by many political and traditional leaders of Mogadishu civil society.

Barre will be wrapping up his trip and will head back to Kismaayo next week to contribute to the founding of Jubbaland State of Somalia and moving away from the interim Jubba admin.
