This not me sounding frustrated or bitter, this is simply an observation of the natives and the qurbajoogs. I think the civil war killed off all the classy people and left the dregs and badows.

A bit of a sensationalist comment, yes. I think Arabs are far more vile than us. But I also believe that we have the capacity to come together and achieve great things once we can get our priorities in order - and LH says this alot. This qabiil hatred breeds a plethora of attrocities. Not to mention the affects of a war-torn generation.

I remember my ayeeyo telling me how it was before the war - walaaltinimo and national identity was strong, everyone was focused on building a great future. After the war it's like crabs in a bucket. But we are proud people. Once the cuuqdad is gone, and we see the benifits in shedding the hatred, we'll move forward.
