This sadly happens a lot of times and not just in London. I personally seen a case of a family who had children removed from them and a somali family that adopted somali children. Its a sad part when these children are raised in non somali muslim homes, they dont receive the psychological grounding and development that would be given by a somali muslim home .

yh they get worse as they age and further conform to the host culture. But my comment was referring to areas such as religion and culture, to me culture isnt that important but somali parents for the most do their utmost to teach the children about allah (swt), this is supplemented by sending them to dugsi and teaching them prayer as a result even the worst delinquents have at the very least an elementary understanding of the diin and the value it should hold in their life
