Where I live in a huge estate. Where my husband's party is a whig. Where ladies talk in baby talk, but cute and more witty. Where the morning begins with "How do you do" and ends with biscuits and tea. (giggles in the large hallways, sorrounded by magnificent paintings on the wall. A particular painting of William Pitt the younger, first young Bachelor Prime Minister)A charming ball every weekend. A recital of poems and display of plays. Where I reign in the society, as the esteemed, Duchess her grace. I receive women of high celestial society, and we talk wit and gossip. Where visitors first send a note, italicized, of course, a note informing their soon visits. Of course, I do have the option to send a man servant to approve or decline such visits.

Can such a world be imagined and lived? Oh what dreams are made of!

Basra how do you cope with the modern world whilst being chronically obsessed with anything to do with 18th century England? Also women of that century were lady-like not tomboyish or sluts like today..you are an example...slutty-tomboy.
