The typical somali diet
Are most somalis aware how vitamin and mineral deficient our food is? And the fact that we eat too much carbs? Are they aware that when you cook your food you destroy the nutrients? Have you ever seen somalis eating varieties of fruits and vegetables on a regular basis?

Re: The typical somali diet
it's the somali way of life.Re: The typical somali diet
You'd be surprised, most Somali diets has changed tremendously since arriving in Dibadaha.
And the reason for that is, it's alot cheaper to eat the food of the country you live in.
Who has time to cook labor intensive Somali food every day? If anything, we eat Somali food maybe once a week.
