but thing is siilanyo started this development whn he first came to office. it would be great for him to have 2nd term so that he can set the barrier high for next canadate.
its very important I mean im not really a huge fan of siilanyo but I think if we elected someone else than this hard work will fall apart.
we need siilanyo to continue his plans so that he leaves his second term with a much stronger sl. these years are very important whether silanyo wins it or whether someone else wins, because this stage is critical is either the making or breaking of SL. its better for someone like siilanyo to lead us at this time with his experience than some clueless business man.

i would give silaanyo even 3 terms to rule if he was fit to rule another term the development project he started can be finished by the same party just a different candidate , silanyo has done well in the last 4 years. But we will see less of president silanyo in the second term and much of the same old powerful ministers around him, We need energetic president even if he comes out of the kulmiye camp i would support that and the people of SL will rally behind him , but if silanyo runs again we would not see as much progress we saw from 2010 to 2014 because from 2010 to 2014 the kulmiye party wanted to proof its self to be the the right leaders of SL now the development and unity party has done good, there are short comings but silaanyo needs a sucessor who continues the path of development.

@khalid well from all opposition groups all their candates don't seem 'energetic', with the unprofessionalism they have been doing on our tv screens and internet, they are not ready, and would require for them to go back to their drawing boards....I have not seen their manifesto and don't know what position they stand for. what policies they agree with sillanyo and what policies they disagree with. the same people who refused to back id cards for sl citizens surely something is not right about them.

its not about PR at this point, siilanyo has done a great job so far and its only fair that he continues this, I believe siilanyo will also make a lot of progress in the next 4 years but he will focus more on building the east of the country.
you are right about siilanyo being succeeded but not until he finishes his second term.

The issue is not whether silanyo has not done a great job the question many people are asking can siilaanyo continue the path to prosperity the second term since he is getting older can silanyo campaign can he give speeches like he did in 2009 and can he hold rallies can he conduct new policies can he draft new laws can he all continue the path he started thats the question.if silanyo wins elections we will see more of his strong ministers and less of silanyo and that is not good for Somaliland. We shall see how the elections goes next year 2015 may the best party win for the republic. Ucid is a socialist party and most of the time a peoples party they have very good ideas on how to develop the country but plans remain plans we jet have to see it

i would even support Xirsi for president in Kulmiye Xirsi is energetic he can lead he is proud he knows how to talk , speaks with a strong tone against our enemies i would even support xirsi to run for president Xirsi on the horse, all in all we need a president that runs the show that is important.
