Sharif sakin is perhaps the single most astute politician Somalis have seen in the past 100 year
His mastery of Realpolitik is second to none.
He has natural ability to recognize opportunity and he is not a ideologue nor is he naïve in terms risk management.

Sharif sakin is a man I can do business with and Somalis should learn to appreciate characters like that rather than novice political operators

Sharif sakin is a combination of Maurice de Talleyrand, otto von Bismarck and, Klemens von Metternich and Vyacheslav Molotov

Hassan Sheikh is doing what Caydiid /USC did.....but without the bullets.
I say this in all seriousness....Somalia is being set back years.
Time will tell if the damage wrought by his corrupt regime will be reversible.

Exactly. Culusow and his thieving cult will lead Hawiye and only Hawiye to ruin. Everyone else is on the Federalism train which means they can only sign Illegal deals that pertain to the only constituency that recognises them. By 2016, most of Mogadishu will be owned by Jewish and Turkish businessmen.

what is taking place in mogadishu is what's its called "shock doctrine" or disaster capitilism
what amazes me is the privatisation of public Public utilities with no institutional oversight and actioning off major public infrastructure assets like airports and ports (assets where sovereignty can be challenged from, i.e invasion, illicit trade and covert transit point for unregulated activities)

The central government has empowered the regions yet the domain of the central government can be considered Terra nullius.
the state-formation of the Somalis is a oxymoron there is a heavy Neo-liberal agenda (not in the good sense, thye not creating a broad national market and competitiveness economy)

the somali xaaraan ku nax cultture has found a willing partner in Neo-liberal ideology, that why its important that the federal states are set up and the upper house of the states has a constitutional mandate.

god help you if you find yourself in a Terra nullius state.

Bravo!

But "they" don't want to listen though. I predict in a few years the high living cost in Mogadishu will force the current inhabitants to seek refuge in Federal States that had the foresight to boycott Damul Jadiid and its Zionist sponsored Neoliberal agenda.

Damul Jadiid already gave some Yahuud named Michael Stock 11 acres of public land, they've also signed some foreign company to take control of the Somali Maritime territory, which includes a staggering 51% of all licensing profits. The list of treasonous deals is endless. It's scary how quickly Damul Jadiid forced Somalia into CORPORATE COLONIALISM. But the mentality is " hey, as long as the President is from my tribe, I don't care…"
