It is haram because it is intoxicants that self harm people and their families. If it was for medical reasons that better the health of people then
it wouldn't have been haram. By selling cigarettes/khat you're profiting from other people's misery.

Everything thing that we consume harms us if the dose is high enough.MrPrestige wrote:It is haram because it is intoxicants that self harm people and their families. If it was for medical reasons that better the health of people then

If somebody consumes too much sugar or too much fat that only causes
them a lot of health problems in the future ...misery.
Yet you don't see people claiming selling sugar to a fat person is xaaraam.
Intoxicants (things that are analogous to the intoxication you get from alcohol)
on the other hand are considered xaaraam.
Cigaar is not an intoxicant and qaad is way too mild
to cause intoxication on the level of alcohol.
The only thing you could argue is that it's not good
you can't be claiming random shit as xaaraam on the basis
that it harms us.

It is around Haro Sheikh district which is the far west of Oodweyne bordering Waqooyi Galbeed region.

abdikarim86 There might not be many subjects in Islam about khat laakin apart from the fact it is harmful it is also a drug that affects your ability to
do your duties as a Muslim. Have you ever seen a khat addict that prays salat? So use your common sense next time. Cigarette on the other hand you
can argue for it.

Substances that are considered xaaraam are explicitly stated as xaaraamMrPrestige wrote:abdikarim86 There might not be many subjects in Islam about khat laakin apart from the fact it is harmful it is also a drug that affects your ability to

OR if it's not in the quraan or sunnah it has to be analogous to what is
written in the quraan or sunnah.
Jaad iyo Cigaar ain't analogous to Khamri
Being addicted to something is only a sign of deeper problems
Maybe it's those problems which get in the way of Salat ...I don't know
Lakin you can't be claiming because somebody chews ...they don't perform salat
because that is false ..you only need to look around

haro-shiekh has always come under oodweyne district. haro-shiekh is 100% hy...lol. haro-shiekh is very close to oodweyne.MrPrestige wrote:

guyoobe has no degaans in gobolka oodweyne saaxib, maybe a few reer guuraa families that historically inter-marry with ugaadh umar hy.they mostly live with isxaaq in qoton-daba & sabawanaag district and hy in daroor districts.
guyoobe in oodweyne is exaggerated. they r negligible.

You're only kidding yourself. I guess you didn't read the effects of khat, khat makes existing mental problems worse and creates some where there
was non. You can't claim something that purposely effects your mental well being and in return resulting in you failing to do your duties in Islam is
not "haram".
Khat is a outlawed drug in the UK for a reason and many Western countries, it has a big effect on your mental well being.

Magac bilaash kuma baxo, he looks like a f-king turtle.
One has to give credit where credit is due. He used to sell khat in Daroor outside a shop that belonged to my mothers abti and today he's among the richest men in Somaliland and top 10 among richest Somalis.

Re: Cirro opens modern football pitch in East Hargeisa
I was an infant when my parents returned to SL just before the decleration of independence on May 18, 1991 but the country was destroyed and full of landmines especially Hargeisa so they moved to Ethiopia.. So yh I lived in both Daroor and Dirdhaba where my parents had a house.
Dude made himself rich, he used to wear a red macawiis and a matching shirt and he used to sell inside Daroor only before establishing monopoly on most of the trade and when he made enough money he moved his enterprize to Hargeisa and become the Khat Baron he is today.
Daroor was live back then but today it's dead and Cagdheer Dhaanto Culture is rampant.

Weed is not derived from alcohol nor is cocaine.both are haram, no? Warya, khat is even worse than cannabis in terms of how a long a person stays highs for and the effect it has on the mind.khat is the craxk cocaine of somalis.abdikarim86 wrote:Everything thing that we consume harms us if the dose is high enough.MrPrestige wrote:It is haram because it is intoxicants that self harm people and their families. I can't remember the exact Hadith that states......if any practice is in doubt as to whether it's haram/halal....it should be avoided completely.
Surely khaat & tobacco fall into this category.
