The only thing that will save our deen is a paradigm-shifting Reformation, away from the khuraafaat and the khuzacbalaat of calcified & laughable dogma and fabricated fictitious hadiths that was created for the benefit of the ruling elite and to subjugate society in the name of God; and towards a return to the original, progressive, and revolutionary mission of Islam: wamaa arsalnaaka ilaa raxmatin lil caalimeen, a mission of universal mercy to ALL of mankind(including non-muslims), a mission for revolutionary freedom, compassion, and accountability. What this will require is for centuries-old established dogma to be first discredited, intellectually and theologically, and then discarded into the dustbin of history. <--- This will provoke and throw the orthodoxy and the weak masaakiin minds they control into a hysterical frenzy: "Nacala kuugu yaalo, murtadyahow, ma waxaa rabtaa deenteena inaa naga badashid. Khaaaak Tuuuf, nacala murtad!"

Examples of areas that need a Reformation(and it is coming, my neegars, the Reformation IS COMING):

- Absolute freedom of religion, belief, and worship. A person can become Muslim today, Budhhist tommorow, and a Pastafarian saa'dambe. Or a mix of all 3, simultaneously. Maxaa kaa galay?

- Universal freedom & equality. A muslim cannot and will not be treated better than a non-muslim. No, we are not "better" than anybody. We're human beings with all of the weakness and fallibility that entails, just like the rest of the 6 billion humans on earth.

- Abolishing jizya. Do we muslims pay a special "muslim tax" in the West? So why the fuck should non-muslims living in Muslim lands pay jizya? The current oppressive semi-slavery iqamah system in the khaleej has it's origins in jizya; you need special permission from your owner(kafeel) to travel from city to city.

- Abolishing slavery. No ifs or buts. The absolute quickest way to make people reject Islam is to tell them it allows slavery and concubinage.

If these basic precepts of humanity & justice that all human beings expect and aspire for cannot be met, well then, expect the current trickle of atheists in the mold of Twist(closeted) to turn into a gushing river of Abdi-Johnson/WiglessBidaar(crusading-atheists) And that 5 second google search is proof-positive.

But nah, keep on living in the mythical world of utopia, a world of "seeking purity", of "following the salaf-ul-salalix", a world where women are niqab-wearing chaste virgins(lol) and men are bearded & honorable(double lol). Ironically, if you read the tafseer of that ayah, it is referring to the Qurayshi pagans who rejected the message of Islam because they wanted to be "pure" and "literalist" to the dogma laid down by their forefathers: paganism. Today, we have motherfaaraxs who are insisting that there is only "one way"(their way), the pure way, the way of the salaf, and anybody who doesn't agree with them is hell-bound. The irony abounds.

I don't blame ISIS or Boko Haram; I blame the cowardice and laziness of classical Muslim scholars throughout the centuries which resulted ine the doors of ijtihaad(logical reasoning & interpretation to meet new challenges and scenarios) being closed, and thusly, left the Muslim ummah forced to rely on a twisted, archaic, and misbegotten version of Islam for centuries to come.
