Insights to change Somaliland's MPs Election system.

Somaliland need to consider the MMP system as an alternative system to elect MPs...will allow greater representation and flexibility for parties to cover greater demographics...note we are a republican system so governments are formed and led by an elected president...the point of similarity with this system is the way in which members in the legislative branch (MPs) are elected or selected! hope the president is following this post! if not, hope the opposition parties adopt it as a selling point for their reform programmes in the upcoming election! if not, hope the Somaliland people will demand change to the current system which is unfortunately a monopoly to a very small portion of the political elite in Somaliland...ownership needs to stay with the people and elitism should be something of the past...we are truly an egalitarian society...we have always been like that we just need to institutionalize it as our political systems evolve.
