Funny Story Of A Somali Buddy And US Politician
On a break, He goes out to grab a cup of Coffee and sits down. In another seat in the café He sees New Gingrich, but He doesn't make it obvious He knows who He is. This friend of Mien is in the economics industry and is very bright. He starts talking to Him and they have about a half hour conversation. After that He steps out and goes inside a Limosine and says "I gotta go, nice talking to You" with a driver holding His door open.
Now Newt Gingrich was the Speaker of the House for the most powerful nation on the planet, and in politics all His life. Imagine a laymen citizen trying to have a conversation with a politician in the 3rd world. He'd get slapped and put in jail probably. The humility of Western Culture is really something to admire and something to be emulated.

Did you just romanticize Newt Gingrich?
In fact because of qabil Somalis have very close access to the politicians amongst them. Its how laymen get scoops about political decisions weeks before they happen lol.

Just the other day my father, a simple and honest layman, was haranging Cirro over the phone. If that's not approachable, I don't know what is. And Xirsi Gaab regularly exchanges emails, pleasantries and such. Newt Gringrich looks like an amphibian just like his name, he's not powerful at all. I don't know why Somalis like to big-up other people while pissing down on their own.

Jaidi,
I despise New Gingrich. Bottom line though is there is still a lesson for us to learn.
Thuganomics,
The Somali Qaxooti Mp In Somalia, or the Arab drunkard minister in Arabaha, or the African corrupt bully who would have a citizen thrown in jail for even looking at them is the paradox We got to understand here.

Newt Gingrich, I'm no fan of myself. However the same Gaalo We bash day and night at least are more civil and down to earth than our people back home. In the 3rd world You will not even see a Politician in a café ordering a coffee first off.

The former Taxi driver turned "Member of Parliament" in Somalia will have Your ass thrown in the slammer for daring to try to speak to Him in Somalia.

Bro, it's Washington DC. You're going to run into a few politicians. Also, I live in the UK and here MPs are seen as a load of corrupt, lazy posh twats - the opposite of approachable. There was an entire scandal here when a politician called a policeman a "pleb". Maybe Americans are just more down to earth than other people.
I can't imagine Mitt "money" Romney having a half an hour convo with the average person unless it's for publicity.

LiquidHydrogen,
To be honest even in the West I think there differences between America Vs Europe. Don't get Me wrong the whole "Anybody can be anybody" mantra in America might be a little false. That said everybody can at least be somebody no doubt. In Europe there are class segregation issues, corruption issues. In America a minority (Speaking as one) can easily live a good life if they take the steps. In Europe, from all the information I've gathered it absolutely sucks to be a minority (aka non-white).

murax he is writing a book about us (am really worried)
he properly going to praise somali shop owners and lambast somali religiosity and dependence on welfare ( newt gingrich is highlighting his welfare reform credentials of the 90s)
he has political motives, he wants to say somali entrepreneurial spirit is the american dream and al shabab recruitment and welfare dependence is the by product of lefts political correctness and appeasement of islamic radicalism in the name of equality and multi multiculturalism.
murax WOE! to thy somali americans, for a gloomy clout is approaching thy.
