We don't have a city that is an hour away on a train like Europe. Major cities are few and far apart. Besides, we all have cars, and that is our preferred mode of transportation. We still have trains but I've never been on one personally.

Hmm makes sense America is much bigger. I love how you guys have forests, National parks, wild animals roaming about the place Here in the U.K the scenery is less dramatic... most of the forests were felled ages ago and that's why you see miles & miles of rolling hills and countryside. Pretty yes but i long for something more wild and unspoilt.
