Ofcourse the believer is like 1 body, and for one to day I don't care what happens to any Muslims except Somalis is wrong. That said Allah many times in the Quran said "Wa Li dil Qurba" When it comes to things such as Sadaqa which means Your relatives get priority.


When it came to the Da'wah of the Rasuul SAW He started off giving Da'wah to His personal family, then to His extended family Banu Hashim, Then to all of Quraysh, Then after that to Aws, Khazraj in Madina then after that to all of Arabia, then after that the Prophet sent letters to Byzantium, Persia, etc. Does it mean that the Prophet SAW did not care if Romans, Persians accepted Islam? No. But the lesson here is You build foundations with Your family, extended family, kin, nation, nations in our case Somalis.

Laa Ta'atul Makhluuq Li Ma'siyatul Khaaliq (There is no obedience to the creation to disobey the creator). Somalis rob, steal, cheat, abuse other Somalis of difference clans to obey their clansmen aka the creation. You do not support even Your Dad, Mom When it comes the Dulum, You only support them in good. You have the Hadeeth Where RasuulAllah said "Unsur Akhaaka Thaaliman Au Mathluum" (Support Your Brother if he is the oppressor or the oppressed) The Sahaba responded and said We understand How You support Him if He's oppressed but How do You support Him if He is the oppressor? He SAW responded and said by advising Him and admonishing Him. With Somalis the problem We support them When they are oppressors too.

I remember sometimes taking cab rides with other Saudis When I was there. 2 of them would be casually talking about each other about clan to get to know each other and Where they're from and stuff, and they would be talking about it in a way that Has zero animosity, for the Gulf Arabs for example it is simply identification nothing more. Hassan Al __, Ahmed Al__. We need to think outside the box as Somalis and not think that the whole world thinks as psychotic as us when it comes to clan. For others it is simply not that big of a deal and a way to get to know each other.



Generally speaking clan if used the right way is a very good thing. But I guess as Somalis We are so far below zero that as a form of shock therapy We need to just completely abolish it.

They'd have us speaking another language, wearing surwaal khamiis, and marrying Chechens and Uzbeks if they could. The petro-ideology's cultural imperialism is more insidious,more widespread, and more dangerous to our survival as a unique ethnic group than any threat we've faced since colonization.

I know what your saying, but Somalia becoming much more religious to a certain direction has been going since the early 90s. Even before Alshabab came around Somalia was what some would term "wahabized". Alshabab is a manifestation of this ongoing process. Its native Somalis on the wheels not Alshabab.
