i'm due for a new phone. my note 2 is getting on, had it since it came out so its time to let it rest.

Both Note 4 and iPhone 6 plus are too huge for the pockets. The only advantage to having either of them is that you will hardly need an iPad or even a laptop.
iPhone 6 is really good for a phone you can carry in your pocket. Not too big nor too heavy.
