The federal government of Ethiopia barely governs the Ogaden region. It's nearly an autonomous state within Ethiopia.

Had they joined Zoomalia, they would have been piss poor and worse off like Bay and Bakool.

Have you even seen K5? It's by far the poorest and least developed region in ethiopia. If the Ethio government doesn't want to invest in K5 then I suggest they give it back to Somalia. You can't not invest in K5, brutalise the population and then expect to take it's natural resources as well. The xabashi can't have their fcking cake and eat it as well. K5 is poorer than a lot of Regions in Somalia, I don't know what the hell you are talking about. I'm from there, I should know.

Not saying the place is super developed. But they are better off with Ethiopia than had they been under post-civil war Zoomalia.

You're comparing apples and oranges. Saying that K5 would be less developed under Somalia rather than Ethiopia is neither here nor there and I don't really think you can prove that. I'm saying that the K5 region is definitely less developed than the Oromo, Tigrey and Amhara regions. A few roads here and there is nothing. Ethiopia has done fck all for the people of K5 and only holds the region through fear and torture. Not to mention the region has become overrun with hordes of Oromos.

I agree with you, it is tasteless to insult a group of people you don't know just because of politics. I hate the Somali trolls all over the internet who embarrass Somalis and make them out to look like racist, insecure self-haters. Just google "Somali girls" and see the results. To compare, Google "ethiopian girls" and see the difference. These animals have brought shame and undue hate to the Somali name, which was already in tatters.
