This is indeed a huge progress for all of somalia. As the road from galkacyo to garoowe serves everyone not just puntlanders. Hopefully more projects are coming in allah.

I think even if a fraction of that aid money is used for intended purpose, it will go long way to improve that long neglected but vital stretch of inter-regional highway.

The road already exists. This money will go towards repairing the road. It's a lot more than any somali administration ever got for a road.
