As far as weji .. Fool is fine .. Foolka iska soo daq ... ama ... Foolka ayuu ka darbaaxay .... Ama Foolka Ayaa waxaa iga soo baxay Nabar

Also How do u say "Caafimaad" in somali ?
Rooble this is not Somali.

Try to use that phrases with your parents and I bet you, they will laugh at you.

use waa goorma/xillima for when
foolka dhaq is ok as in fool dhaqo we use that all the time, same as fool xumo
u don't have to say foolka yuu ka dhirbaaxay its implied, u only add the body part if its not wajiga/foolka
nabarku muu iska soo baxaa lol
I repeat Xilli doesn't mean Time. Can you tell what time is it now in Somali?
Xilli and Waqti are used in different phrases. I would say Goor is the closer one to Waqt than Xilli.
In Somali Goor and Xilli are used as " When " and "Time". Therefore, Reer Somaliland, Djibouti and Galbeed use Waqti as the "Time" and whenever someone want to ask a question he/she will use Goor/Xilli not Waqti.

If you still insist Fool aya ku haboon Waji then I can I say " Foolka aya fin iga soo baxay " ??

P.S. Foolka waxa inta badan loo isticmaala illiga hore.

Qaruurad/quraarad is Arabic. The Somali word for it is dhalo. But good job on getting the word for carpet.

I think the reason we use so many loan words is because our original words are usually very descriptive. Whereas loan words simplify that

Descriptive somali words:

Flush=biyo raac
speed bump= askari jiif
Glasses=indho saar
Satellite= dayax gacmeed
