Khalid stop making things up as you go along. :)
Your people are stuck with the southerners for eternity and a day. :)

The sooner you accept this reality the better it will be.
Begging all around the world to return to colonialism is shameful.
PS Ethiopia is the last country in the world which will recognise S/L.

Yalaxow,

If the union was legal, how come the officers that staged the 1961 coup were not brought to justice?

The Supreme Court of Somalia based in Mogadishu had no judicial legitimacy in the region (Somaliland) where the alleged crime took place.

I blame SL politicians for the absence of hard facts in these talks. The only thing dadkan waalan Ina kala saari kara waa facts, not fake "brotherhood" that doesn't exist, never has and never will.

Khalid,

IGAD and Ethiopia can go fuck themselves. The mediators should be impartial countries from West Africa and neutral European countries like Sweden.

somalilanders don`t understand how international relations works.
Snet landers are like their politicians, they think their own facts and propaganda can convince the world.
they don`t even understand the international climate nor international law and protocols
reer wagoogiga riwayada somaliland bay aduunka ula tageen (ceeb badana)

all european countries and america have diplomatic relations with somalia, meaning they recognize somalia`s territorial integrity.

bal firi waxay la shir imadeen, its embarrassing to watch, no wonder southern politicians always outmanoeuvre sland politicians since 1960s.

look at guy like xildiid and what he believes, first of all there was never a union, there was a somali territorial integration.
A union is between two seprate states and somaliland never was a state under the british, it was a protected territory.
italian somalia was a italian territory that was upgraded to a UN member state, somaliland went from british
somaliland went from British protected territory to somali carved up regions, they never attained statehood in history

they never had legally recognized currency, flag, postal service nor were they members of any international body not even commonwealth.

This is a joke, what is so sad is; there are poor people that actually believe professor script writer khalid ali (xildiid iyo kuwa kale wa idots atleast khalid ali twist and turns the narrative and makes it seem plausible)

went they went to the turks what did they expect, somalilanders wa caado qatayaal and once they are molested they complain and require counselling by a third party.

in the mind of somalilander the talks were always between somalia and somaliland while the whole world saw it in the same category as jubaland, ahlu sunnah and puntland talks

in 2012 I made a thread about these talks

Yalaxow,

How can you have a referendum when the binding agreement was only signed by Somaliland? A bilateral agreement has to be signed by two parties in order to have any legitimacy.

Typhoon,

As hominem aside, the nonsense you post makes no sense. What's Somali carved up regions? Stick to facts.

Somaliland republic attained statehood on June 26, 1960. The fact that the binding agreement (Act of Union) was passed at the National Assembly of Somaliland before being signed by the elected delegation disproves your nonsense. That agreement would cement and legitimize the union.

there was never a union between states only somali territorial integration.
syria and egypt had a union because both were states, british somaliland was integrated in the newly independent UN member state of somalia.

yalaxow reer wagoogiya think british somaliland and their tribal fiefdom somaliland are the same and have the same legal standing.

british somaliland belonged to british empire and that entity ceased to exist in 1960, somalilanders never had a claim on british somaliland all the rights of that protected territory was transferred to somali republic, were does the isaaq claim come in this conversation, adeer wagooyi galbeed iska fadhiya deh.

wallahi the international community doesn`t take somaliland bid serious because it so embarrassing and any country that deal with that would be seen as having ulterior motives, that why ethiopia is hidding behind the curtain and these somaliland are uttering ethiopian talking points, igad ha na dexdaxadiso ku laha, if that is not Ethiopian talking point I don`t know what is.

somalilanders biggest secret is ethiopian suzerainty it is becoming obvious to the world

even jubaland had good grasp of international protocol and international law, somalilanders can`t even get the basics right qabyalad iyo daarood lama hadlayno bay ku maraysan while somali goverment is highlighting khaatumo and awdal case and profiling somaliland as a single tribe entity

no offence but you are stupid bro

go learn international law and British empires territorial classifications

you were never a state under the british nor did you attain statehood on June 26, 1960, what you were was, a british protected territory and in 1960 you became independent territory that was absorbed by a referendum in somali republic.
you were 5 days independent territory don`t confuse it with independent statehood

somalilanders are legally and politicly illiterate
nicholas kay goes to somaliland as UN envoy to somalia and they don`t understand what that entails, dee UN-ku wa na aqoosan raba mr nicholas kay waxu yriri develeoment aid for somalia ba wax iniga siin

Typhoon I agree our political elites are inept idiots that failed to even make the world notice .
We have bunch of Khalid Cali high with the smell of their own gas fart.

Still we will never share a state with you guys. To be blunt, we just don't like you. In fact, we hate you.

Now, the approach taken for recognition and whether it has failed or not will not deter us even if Somalia were magically to transform into a Utopia.

I rather us perish than share a state with you.

Warku waa cadyahay
wa hadal cad

we will never allow a sovereign state to arise in northen somalia, we rather give somaliland to ethiopia in exchange for ogadeniya( there is no such thing as free lunch)

we still have the ace of spades, waba gadayna somaliland

saciid, siilanyo is by far the most desperate somaliland politician ever, he would relinquish somaliland position of 20 years for aid from turkey or his participation of somalia conference in london for meagre British aid.

hunguri ba turkida u geyay siilanyo and now his delegation is putting a brave face when they got slapped and outmanoeuvred

somaliland politicians hungury, tactical ineptness and their qabyalad political method is somalia best ally

Xplay always made the best critique of somaliland politicians how they are more concerned with local politics(qabyalad) then overall somaliland quest for statehood

siilanyo wa more hadal then action, I remember his election campaign how he was the snm mujahid now he does things that riyaale never did

Silaanyo is way past his prime. Waa maqaar saar uun. We have people who have never treked outside their villages combine with qurbojoogs who don't know the local political climate running the show and it shows.

But this is part of the growing pains.

Somalia wali way u hadhay.

The iidoors gambled on an all or nothing strategy and lost.
Five years ago they could have extracted every concession save independence from the savage southerners, whom were camped en-mass in Kenyan hotel lobby's at the time. They could have had the capital in Hargeisa and rewritten the constitution.

Instead it was written in Garowe and the rest is history.
I expect the iidoor to remain intransigent for tears to come, while their people remain in the wilderness. :D :sland:

How it feels good to be an Idoor :blessed:

The guy above me comes in every topic about SL to regurgitate his little Idoor lines like a broken record.
I think he has to do that at least once a day to reassure himself.
He has to come on to snet to salvage whatever little pride his folks have left.
Either way your people will live under SL rule for years to come.
How pitiful
