Re: where the somali govt should stand in the yemeni conflict!
People in Muqdisho may wish or pray for a particular outcome in the Yemeni civil war, but them having any effect on the situation is laughable to say the least. Their recognition of any of the feuding sides will not amount to anything and they are not in a position to supply funds or weapons to anybody for that reasons their ability to affect anything on the situation is nil. I don't even think Culusow and co ever wasted time to have a serious discussion about the Yemeni problems in the first place for good reasons.

Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf Arabs are allied with Israel....Jordan, Egypt, Morocco too.
Turkey has very close military and economic links with Israel.

A hasty glance at arabs!
Israel allies? Kkkk
Allies r people who have security cooperation and I challenge you to proof this!
It didn't happen even in the second gulf war when iraq targeted israel!
Its a disaster when people like you r appointed in the offices!
Thanks god in the south we have new blood!
I will give you one example among the million examples on why arabs and srael r the opposite
Let's us take an example for ethiopia
http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http://en ... h77TeVU6dA
Eritrea was portrayed as an arab influence by ethiopia during its liberation days
Therefore, eritrea did not join the arab world to balance its relations with israel who was against her liberation
Since israel influences the US, its the eritrean diplomatic channel in there and now an israeli former general is suggesting the only solution for yemen is the US dealing with eritrea!
Only egypt and jordan have diplomatic relations with israel and this was part of the peace treats between them
Arabs have only changed some of their positions towards israel like calling her the zionist entity and boycotting her, some have exchanged with her offices to support the peace process but most of them didn't materialize to due to the srael violence in ghaza
Arabs will never trust three nations: habasha, persians and jewish, it goes back to their jahiliya days
Sudan did a lot to improve the ethiopian relations with the arab world
Yes israel is against iran but was selling weapons for khumaini against iraq!
Israel has diplomatic relations with egypt but they r still enemies and target each others interests as part of the arab-israel conflict
israel is involved in the nile issue with ethiopia and south sudan splitting from the north
In kurdistan, who smuggles its oill to israel?
Who established the islamic cooperation organization? Wasn't moroco after the jewish set fire to al aqsa mosque?
Turkey is now different than before, its back to its muslim identity
Iran of pahlavi was anti-arab persian regime that why they recognized israel along side with turkey since its creation
Djibouti would have been economically better if it wasn't her arab position from the jewish companies
There were a lot of jewish investments before its independence
Arabs have strongly backed djibouti against eritrea.

Delusional grandeur indeed!
You know when you board a plane and the flight attend instructs you to "put your oxygen mask on first before assisting others". Tiisa daryeela, tukale daryeela.

What right does the "Gov" have to even have a foreign policy? Policy without a means for implementation is simply silly to discuss.

Sahal.....don't believe the Arab pronouncements of being against Israel.
search for the facts not rhetoric.
Egypt cooperates with Israel militarily.....they protect Israels southern flank from attack and help imprison/blockade Gaza.
Turkey has an agreement that allows Israeli jets to use it's airspace.
Every strategic installation in the UAE is protected by Israeli surveillance equipment & personnel.
Arab anti Israeli rhetoric is just for mass consumption of the Muslim peasants, behind the scenes they all deal with Israel.

Lol@ This Thread Yemeni conflict
Somalias primary concern is dealing with the Dhuusamareeb conflict and Mudug issue
its good to talk about the conflicts in other region. But there cant be a Somali government stance because Somalia is not a player in regional affairs
maybe 30 years ago when the Somali republic was standing.
OD is right Morocco Egypt Jordan and even UAE have Commercial ties Morocco Egypt and Jordan have full diplomatic ties at the end of the Day the Arabs and the Jews are cousins from one Patriarch Abraham its a Tribal superiority conflict in the region and a land dispute
Arabs have lost in Syria and in Iraq the 2 strongest Arab states are in Ruins the Sham countries

Somalia should be dhex dhaxaad on the Yemeni conflict. There are tons of Somalis that live there.
LooL the funniest thing was when Somalia took an official position at the Ukraine, Russia conflict. Sure, Somalia is in no position or has power, but remember, it's an official thing statement that matters.
I dunno if it was RT or Pravda I read this, but they listed Somalia's position on the conflict.
Official statement is what matters, and these people don't know deeply about our internal conflicts.

Somalia only commented on the Ukraine crisis because the US officials asked them to.
That's how international politics works.....the US wants to give the impression the world is against Russia.
The same with the recognition of Kosovo......Sheikh Shariff Govt recognised them without thinking it might backfire on his own problems with the secessionists. Luckily Serbia had never heard of s/l.
