lets be honest, the competitions between somali states in the future, economiclly militarily and culturally is between these two states, they are like austria and prussia.
I believe banadir seems more democratic, egalitarian and civil society oriented then jubaland.
jubaland properly would be autocratic with mass public support like nazi germany were tribal business men would dominate, plutocracy is what the business elite are striving for and and politcal leaders would be content just being in power.
democracy would never arise among the daarood because that requires fair play, and daarood doesn`t play by the rules nor waith for next election.
I believe these two states should form a franco german alliance that forms the basis of the E.U and that keeps the peace and limits unhealthy competitions.

you are misreading madoowe, ahmed madoowe is properly the most statesman that jubaland has producedTheblueNwhite wrote:If you want to set up a beachfront resort in Kismayo and in need of plot to set up your bizniz, Madoobe n Co demand equal profit sharing as long as you are open for bizniz..

ahmed madoowe wa wadaad ninyahow, he is trying hard to build a state.
the business in kismayo doesn`t work like that, if what you saying is true there would be some form of taxation even if madoowe took cut
the problem with jubaland is laissez faire economic module.
I believe as somali goverment grows the first business to be regulated are mogadishu and it will create socialist conditions
I believe jubaland like prussia but foreigners would heavly meddel or want to meddel in their affairs, while banadir state would be india with their 1000 interest groups and lawyers, that is the nature of diverce state
I believe in jubaland things would be done quick through autocratic means but business would be not touched, they form a privileged elite
I personally support ahmed madoowe but he is not the nature of jubaland, the nature of jubaland are those business elite you can`t see who tip the balance all the time weather barre, al shabab and ahmed madoowe.
they don`t pay taxes and they have transnational economic intrest
these elites are made of marexaan and ogadeen predomintly who are intermarried and whos HQ is in kenya but who`s future power base is in jubaland
jubaland is basicly suuqa bakaraha but incorporated
I will make more detailed thread upon this subject because it seems the future orientation of these states is in their economics, political culture, demographics and geography
