Canadian cops are much more level headed then American. Maybe it's because we don't have a large afro American population Or maybe because we're more educated. But I've had my share of run ins with the police and their always professional and polite.

we were even caught smoking weed the cops sneaked up on us in undercover vehicles and their like " We don't mind you guys smoking up 70% of people do here in this country." and from there on we were just having regular conversation and they tell us about one of the guys there investigating one of them goes by the nickname so and so and it was one of the guys their with us and then the guy their looking for, he starts asking the cop "what do you know about him". Anyway at the end he let one of us go in his cruiser and turn on the lights. After they left we had a good laugh.

Did you notice, its the Somali cop who gestured to the white cops to stop keeping him on the floor
