same walaal, it can get very confusing. I saw SolidCamel = Somaliman until recently, the So- part get me, I must be borderline dyslexic
Male circumcision is obligatory, but other than that it's up to the families involved.

The major life style choices which are screwing things up are me selecting challenging jobs for the rush/challenge element... I think I realised too late that though I am addicted to the rush/challenges, I value my family's welfare (and to a lesser extent mine) more.

You turned the whole place for greetings as if you guys were out and did not see each other for a long-time.

This is about a custom that exists in all of Somali territories where it is practiced by Somali camel herders. It may be too much for women to discuss it, but it is an activity that are often exposed to children, and since LoveAnd Light cares about MGM and children as a whole, I felt this is an activity that she can add to her list.

The gist of the story is Somali Geeljire help the male camel (awrka/baarqabka) when he is mating the she camel (hasha/qaalinta). This is an activity that can be exposed to children if especially camels are near where the children are. And in nomadic environment, that is often the case.

Moral of the story: I was thinking if sister LoveAndLight can add to her list so this practice can be eliminated from all Somali territories, in addition to her other "humanitarian" work
