Walaweyn and faqash talk the talk, but can't walk the walk. They can claim us all they want but that doesn't change the reality on the ground and no sane person will believe them any way.
It's not that simple.
For them it's all about cementing a consensus reality similar to the ridiculous notion that Somaliland was part of Somalia (The IC actually believes that). Once they've managed to achieve this goal, their narrative that Isaaq occupy Sool and Sanaag through an expansionist policy will sound credible.
The whole Dervish myth was cemented as consensus reality and foreign scholars don't bother to examine the movement and the events that took place for 20 years because what Somali "scholars" wrote during the Kacaan regime is somehow perceived as the "truth".
