I don't hate black people and I certainly never supported white supremacy. But is it just me or are we incapable of discussing current events without constantly involving ourselves and taking sides ?

believe me I know we aren't immune to racism, but that shouldn't force us to adopt the african american or jamaican narrative, we might face similar obstacles in this Eurocentric west however we need to respond differently to the blacks since we don't have the same luggage of slavery, centuries of humiliation and brainwashing etc.

Like seriously, any event that's posted on here, people always take sides and defend their sides with a passion. For example whenever there's a case of police brutality in the States, you have some forumers defending Blacks as if they themselves were subject to centuries of slavery and subjugation; and on the flip side you have some forumers who make Stormfront members look tolerant, bashing Blacks like there's no tomorrow.

Is there such thing as a middle ground for Somalis? Where we can discuss current events that happen around the world without getting too emotionally involved and picking sides to a story?

Were african not african Americans in order to be classified as african american you have to have roots that stretch back hundreds of years in this country. you can even ask the african Americans them selfs if they consider the new africans african american and they'll give you the same answer.
