Affordable Care Act (ACA) aka ObamaCare
While the right-wingers attack this healthcare constantly through their radio talk show hosts, TV channels such as Fox, and other mediums, there are many good things in Obama's health signature act and can be summarized as follows:
1. Income based health insurance for all Americans, even if that person is not unemployed without any limits to age.
2. Parents can keep their children in their health insurance policies until the age of 26 even if that child is employed and graduated from college.
3. Despite the small fine, at least the pre-existing conditions that insurance companies used to use to deny coverage have been removed.
4. Coverage for children affected by Autism has been made automatic as soon as this healthcare was passed by US Congress, including treatments and therapies.
5. If you're a woman who is in child-bearing age, you can't be charged more premiums for simply being a woman.
Cons
1. It is a bit expensive for the middle class and its premiums are little bit higher for those in certain income brackets;
2. It requires most Americans obtain health insurance by 2014 or pay a tax penalty. It basically enforces people to sign-up for healthcare coverage in order to get treated.
Personally, I have seen immediate family members, who did not have a health care insurance due to their employment conditions and had diabetes at the same time, and how this healthcare helped them out after they signed up to enroll in ACA. IMO, history will record Obama as someone who helped the poor and lower-income Americans.
Ok share your thoughts and experiences of what you think on this healthcare!

History will show OBAMA is a useless, adoon with very low intellect. His blackness was both a plus and a minus. The blackness helped him get elected at a rapid and phenomenal way, and at the same time, the insecurities of his blackness makes him distrust white congressmen and not able to be effective as an executive leader.
I will give him credit for the Obama care though, he took advantage of a 'moment' and he did it. (when both houses were democrats)

Re: Affordable Care Act (ACA) aka ObamaCare
This place is run by corporations. You have an entire party (Republicans) and have of the other party (Democrats) protecting the interests of corporations. This place is run by lobbyists who are well-organized, and have the resources to defeat majority of congressmen and women who does not the tow the line. Still Obama managed to get the ACA enacted by US Congress. When Republicans challenged through the Supreme Court (SC), it was saved by one Republican SC Chief Justice Roberts who felt it was too important to have it died. However, you still have other lawsuits pending where they are trying to gradually remove many aspects of this healthcare law.Thuganomics wrote:Map of countries with and without universal health care. The Jewnited States is with all the poor third world countries who can't afford it.Who runs America certainly not the people is it

Re: Affordable Care Act (ACA) aka ObamaCare
Aisha, great question. In America, you're punished for being poor.
I worked at a credit recovery agency once in Toronto. It was so inhumane I had to quit. Imagine families going into debt just because a family member got sick.
I quit when a man sobbed to me over the phone saying he couldn't keep his wife alive. His credit card debt was through the roof, and he promised he'd begin payments once he got back to work, but his wife died the day before.
Walahi I couldnt deal. My manager had the balls to come up to me after and demand a reason for not insisting on an immediate payment.
Anyways Gegiroor, I am happy for you Americans. The middle class and wealthy want to complain, but that's the problem with Americans. Once they have, they can't fathom helping those less fortunate.

u cant compare us to uk. One is a gigantic country , there other is just an island. Besides the US debt as of right now is NOT 18 trillion!
US Debt Ceiling Visualized: Stacked in $100 dollar bills @ $16.394 Trillion Dollars. United States owes a lot of money. As of 2012, US debt is larger than the size of the economy. The debt ceiling is currently set at $16.394 Trillion and approaching rapidly
In true honesty--every country has its own debt. The only country not in debt is Saudia Arabia.

Chelsea dear,
Not along ago u were denying you were from the UK, when I said u were, judging from the English soccer team your support and named after yourself. I find it difficult for a girl to be a sport fan. Its truly disgusting and disappointing at the same time. I hope u do not scratch a none existence balls while watching your sports. Oh I am sorry, your soccer or 'football'!
