I've actually seen the opposite.. most of the white people I've come across (1st and 2nd generation brits) have claimed to be English.. and these are French, germans, hungarian, Italians, Norweigns etc.. I only found out they weren't English weeks or months down the line..in their eyes they were born and raised in England which means they are English regardless of where their parents came from.Adali wrote: Funny thing is, when I ask a white person where are you from, they give me the most weird answers, I'm from Croatia, I'm originally from Germany etc, and they do this with a smile on their face.
