When I have never ever visited that site! I did a quick narcissistic google search of Basra and that is what I came up with! :dj:

I tried visiting that place somaliaonline.com. I don't like the design of the website. It's layout and design is a turnoff. Also that place seems stifling and doesn't seem to represent all somalis. So i prefer snet.

Nur was a Somalinetter! He left because there was too much qabyaalad in the 2000's. Now we have regionalism which is nicer.

I remember Nur. I use to follow a lot of his work.

He should come back to snet . Whatever knowledge he has better spent here. He should share whatever knowledge he has here because snet is the most popular somali website. Bigger audience. Everyone on somaliaonline should abandon that place and join here. More knowledge will spread around the world better and faster that way in my opinion

What was your past nick?

He was the most logical and polite forummer and had the best personality/attitude and was quick to forgive when tempers flared, but there is only so many times you can take illogical animosity on that scale. He even asked for forgiveness after he left and refused to withdraw it after everyone asked him to. Makes me think...good people who say good things are always remembered well, even if you don't haven't seen their face.
