A Chinese woman inside a gaming café seemed more interested in playing video games than giving birth to her newborn, this according to The Star.
The report says the 24-year-old went to the cybercafé after having some sort of a argument with her family. While there last Monday, she birthed her child on the floor.
Instead of calling for help, or even speaking up to tell anyone, she reportedly kept playing her game.
If that doesn’t constitute a gaming addiction, we don’t know what does.
Patrons inside the establishment were shocked to hear the cries of a newborn, and came rushing over to help.
The report says someone inside the café even offered the woman warm water to clean herself from the birth – but she declined, and continued playing.
An ambulance was called and the infant was rushed to the hospital. It was there where the woman’s boyfriend and family gathered to meet the new member of their family.
No word on if the woman was transported as well or if she ever began caring for her newborn.
