Using the “National Longitudinal Survey of Youth 1979” — a survey of people born between the baby boom years of 1957 to 1964 — the government data examine the marriage and divorce patterns for young baby boomers to age 46.
Makes u wonder the way higher education was administered back then, if education fosters aspiration of enduring marriage.

I don't think this outdated data from a generation that was not poisoned against marriage and family values is applicable to current society. Only time marriage is encouraged for the "educated" folks is when propagating "same-sex" marriages.

Also, correlation doesn't always imply causation. It may not be the attainment of higher education itself that is contributing to enduring marriages, but just that the types of people who are more likely to attain degrees are also better suited for monogamy and marriage.
