Do you listen to Sudanese music? I listen to Salah Ibn Badiye and Mohamed Wardi(the communist). My arabic is not beyond assalamu calaykum but I love Sudanese music; instruments, rythm and subtle yet relaxing for the soul, kind of Johan Sebastien Bach + blues and motown all in one.

I think music wise we have a cultural proximity to the Sudanese than to our neighbours.

simply, lama knows my old man and met him for cofee in some europian city. it was just inside joke between us.

i dont listen music and to be fair i dont listen islamic lectures or quran, unless its life that i go to it. i rather read it my self. i like quite as possible. we never had a TV too growing up. maybe that is the reason, i dont like voices and noses.
