That's because we live in a pathological age in which the upright, well-adjusted and virtuous are considered unenlightended bigots who belong in the stone age. The left has utterly defeated the right, so now leftist radicalism and all the social pathologies that accompany it have become social status markers, resulting in narcissists and attention starved deviants trying to do outdo one another in leftist status signalling.
The social engineers have co-opted universities and the media, which are their main tools of indoctrination, and have replaced high-culture with low-brow and degenerate culture and conservative morals with unrestrained liberalism. They knew that because humans are social animals with a strong desire to be accepted and attain status, that people would readily identify with their radical social plan just to fit in and be acknowledged. So welcome to our brave new world, where opera, classical Music, jazz and the blues have been replaced by Miley Cyrus, Nikki Minaj and twerking, and where the loving and strong nuclear family has been replaced by baby two daddies and an adopted son.
How are political divide, cultural dichotomies and the type of music people listen to related to this rape incident?!
How can we (diaspora Somalis) reconcile our acceptance of gaalo people reporting & prosecuting cases of rape & sexual abuse from decades ago, with our denial that a rape report is valid or worthy to be investigated/prosecuted (whether in the community or otherwise)?
