Should there be a fatwa?

Post by CigaalSHiiDaaDCFC »

On reducing fasting hrs to 12 hrs? Specially those who will be fasting 19 plus hrs? It's really going to be difficult for some of us to fast that long, insha allah I intend to fast everyday as I always had but I know couple of ppl who ate last ramadan when they couldn't continue, they do labour work so they had to either quit or eat!
Allah said "Ina diin yusr" :)
what Do you guys think?

i wouldnt suprised if there is already fatwa. we are in age you can get one just like prescription drug in any walk in clinic.

if you needed to "ask" and get permission, i guess you need to think of your intentions.

people who have no choice, they dont need fatwa they do what they have to do to survive.

Hadaad caafimad qabtid waad ka dabaalan karta.Caafimadka wax la dhigo ma jirto.Caloosha dadka xanuunu kaga jiro bay ku adkaan doonto.

I remember last year a man who used throw up blood after iftar and came to the Er almost every night. But do you think he gave up, never! The doctors adviced him to stop fasting. He refused...30ki cisho sidaas bu ku dhamaystey ka waran.Subxanallah, dadna iyago caafimad qaba bay one month kaliya cuntada joojin kari la'yehiin.

bro, you dont need ulama permission. you need to read the ayyah in quran cleary states what it means; if you cannot, fast other days....

Allah knew this and didnt get off guard. the aayah is general as you see, could be you sick, tired, very hard on you, day is long etc.

also, there is aayah that scares me all the time when i come cross it. بَلِ الْأِنْسَانُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ وَلَوْ أَلْقَى مَعَاذِيرَهُ. human kbows him/her self better. Even though he were to put up his excuses.

you can explain the way you want but, one knows reality what they can or not. you have clear Aayah. islam not uncomplete to let ulama to complete it and give their opinion. this partucalar issue is clear in the quran.

dont fall of fatwa olama bullcrap, we are not in vatican or church.

lol@salool. as usualy, you tell as it is and dont beat around the bush. i was trying to be polically correct and let people make their own conclusions . i agree with you 100%.

this guy used to come "majlis fatwa" here. it's punch of sheikhs from all over muslim world with different madhabs. so this guy asks if he can break his fast cause he is sick.

they told him, they are not expert about his sickness and how danger in his life, he needs to see doctor. even with the doctor advice, he can fast or not depends hos own diet in afur.

still every year comes and asks. finally they told him, he knows himself better, he has doctor opinion of his health. he needs to make his own decission.

he wasnt happy cause he wanted to flash his excuse with " fatwa" . he couldnt break his fast without fatwa.

finally, one sheikh told him, try to do niyah, and if you see your self you are really sick, then break your fast. he fasted in the end cause he didnt feel sick enough to break his fast.

salool   i like your personality but unfortunately, i just like to make people understand themselves instead pointing to them the truth. lol

  wallah wan qoslay.

reminded me, one guy asked, what about a doctor who is doing surgery for 72 hours how he can pray on time? sheikh asked in his egyptian funny way " are you surgent? guy said no. sheikh replyed : inta malak, khale algaraa7 yas'al". its not your bussness, let the surgent ask.

back your question, needs to back to that aayah and see if that what apply to him. i dont know his or her situation. they can be their best sheikh to themselves.

all i can quote is the aayah and they need to understand it and get their answer.
