Why don't SL gov speak openly about their visit to UAE...!!

Post by ramzy2277 »

I don't respect governments that hides crucial information on its people, then all of sudden impose and dictate their decision on the public without addressing the matter publicly.

I tried to find a reliable sources about the details of silanyo's trip to UAE,but all I found is some general information.

anyhow,I came across this Somalilander newspaper where it claims it has some tips from a close member to SL delegation in UAE

here is a quote''

What does U.A.E want in return of development projects?

Other sources closed to the delegation are saying the issues the gulf state has tabled at their meetings with president Siilaanyo and three ministers who were accompanied with in the high level meetings with the Emirate officials were included the following points.

The U.A.E wants:

U.A.E to deal with Somaliland directly
Dubai Port World to take over Berbera Port
Somaliland & U.A.E to exchange diplomatic liaison offices
To establish close ties and common interest
To use the Berbera airstrip to attack Houthi militia in Yemen
To set up a military base allowing the U.A.E and the Saudi allies to recruit Somali and other East African Muslim sunni paramilitary to fight with Houthi militia in Yemen.
To back Somaliland in the talks with Somalia

The Emirate’s foreign minister visited Moqadishu on the same they he received president Siilaanyo’s delegation in Dubai last Sunday and sources in Somali-Villa are saying the AU troops backed government has agreed most of the above points and wants the Emirate sheikhs to pressure Somaliland on coming back to the negotiating table with Somalia, while at the same time gave its blessing to the U.A.E to secure any deal with Somaliland.

It is not clear why president Siilaanyo’s government is tight lipped and does not disclose what the U.A.E wants from Somaliland, but time will tell what exactly attached to the U.A.E ‘s generosity towards Somaliland.

Sending Landers to fight in arab wars..!!, walahi if this is true, people should revolt against this government who sells their citizens for the petrpdollar sheekhs.. .

the same newspaper also disclosed that silanyo for the first time met top officials from DP world to discuss how to a quite deal that won't make a fuss in SL..!!

Quote from the newspaper''

“The Siilaanyo government is very keen to struck a deal that won’t cause uproar back in Somaliland and at the same time they want a big slice for any financial incentives” said a senior official of Kulmiye government who wants to remain anonymous. ''

I have just read the article and I would say it's has a biased tone against Silanyo.
The website is associated with videos, fairly new and under construction. It present itself as "news analysis" so watch out.

All am saying is, don't take this site seriously unless other websites confirmed similar content. I have been
fooled by many blogs before that I take everything new with a grain of salt.

Silanyo and his Gov are doing the right thing. SL should always conceal and keep its affairs, meetings with others and discussions a secret. You know if Wanlawein find out the exact deals they will not sleep.

So until the cake lands in Hargeisa like FlyDubai------always keep it hidden.

If DP is coming then we have to keep it that way until we see the CEO landing in Berbera.

Sirtada bananka lama keeno. Just know the Gov is after the success of SL and its people. Somalis only know how to complain, be suspicious and negative...you have to be different and give the leaders ago even when they trip. Your job is to pick them up not kick them.

Personally I do not like reer Berbera elders. I prefer if we gassed them Hitler style. Wax kasta way ka so hor jeedan even when its for their own good and it's no wonder Berbera is slowly becoming another Zeila. I assure you if DP comes they going to take arms.

Wa jahiliin madmadow.

How the fcuk you say no to Dahabshiil and Telesom and yet import cement from low-grade Ethiopia and Oman? Look now Africa's richest man Nigeria's Dangote is investing $500mn in Ethiopian cement and a lot of it will be exported to Berbera while the rest will be exported via Berbera or its rival port Doraleh to the world...while the elders sit on the most rich cement-soil.
Dangote Cement, the cement producer controlled by Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, has commissioned a $500 million cement plant in Ethiopia.
If they keep up with this attitude, the rest of SL will abandon Berbera just like Zeila.

don't think they are hiding too much. its just their policy to keep the president away from the media questions since his uf and akhas verbal attack against faysal waraabe. he has some speech problems. he can barely talk to the people hadaan xirsi Warqad u diyaarin cukuusena u higaadin dhuxulna saxaafada indhaha faraha ka gelin markay isyadhahdan wax waydiiya odayga kkkk.

laakiin run hadii loo hadlo dhamaan siyasiyinta Somaliland mid Somaliland dhibaato la rabaa ma jiro waxay aqoontu seejiso mooyee wadinyadoodu waa heer sare. carabta xoogaa cash ahbayu kaga dhufanaynaa haday qiimo wanaagsan inoo gaadhaana waynu ka kirayn karnaa airport ka. waxa jira 2 hospital oo waaweyn oo ay imaradku inoo dhisayaan mashaariic biyood oo fara badan. inay wadooyinka wax ku darsadaana waynu ka rabnaa. danta dalkeena ayaa ka horaysa waxkasta

Nah man aparently dubai and saudi was advised by john kerry to make relations with sl and eriteria. As it seems djibouti is on houti iran side. From what i heard.
There will be no military base in sl.
I think it will be more of a business desl. Plus the gulfs days are numbered they can no longer flee to arab countries as most are a mess and for those that arent their time will come soon. So maybe they are discussing their retirement plans to sl.

Arabs have finally woken up from their sleep but its too late

Here is the news today where many senior officials including the minister of health is seeking refuge in SL.
Im sure these gulf leaders would do the same if iran surrounds their land along with isis threat.
