How can Ethiopia be a threat to J/L?? Ethiopia has marginal interests in J/L and cares much more about Hiiraan and Koonfur Galbeed.
What is more likely to happen is that Ethiopia consolidates its presence in Baydhabo and Beledweyne to creat a buffer-zone of sorts.
Ethiopia is more interested in the strip of borderland from Galgadud to Bay. They want prevent Alshabab infiltration into their core.
