Perhaps I need a break from my Phone.

Post by 1nemansquad »

its with me 24/7, never leaves my sight and more often than not, well lets say 89% of the time it brings stressful news. its a device that everyone that is in there wants something to some degree at some point and it never stops. i'm at a point where i hate the sound of the bloody thing. with all the apps means more access than ever and its almost impossible to be selective when it comes to who to ignore and who not to. i don't know what life was like when people were sending letters but i wouldn't mind finding out.

anyone else need a break from their phone?

there is a simple solution, just buy a cheap phone that makes simple calls and sends text messages. that way you won't miss important work/family calls and no stress, plus their battery lasts longer.

I am currently in baadiye, i.e Gaalkacyo, in the occupied northern Galmudug and can scarcely survive a minute without this damn device.

I really love my phone, from the funny group chat with my friends, to my boss sending me last minute deadline emails, to me hysterically laughing at my cousin's snapchat stories.I came to term that I won't be able to live without my phone and somehow I am okay with that. It became part of me.

I truly hated cellphons before i had my first one.I wish i could go back to that time. Now i cant get rid of it because of my work.

Just reduce the amount of apps you've in ur phone.Personaly i hide my last seen both on viber and whatsupp, and dont answer messges the minut i get them if its not urgent or family realted.Wa la iska indha tira...hadii kale waxaad ku jiri uun message ka jawaab iyo hadal bila micno ah.

Try to turn of ur phone when you're resting as well or spending time with ur family.I've started now to turn of my phone the minut i get home from work for 2-4 hours.

Set a time for family xidhiidh, siiba kuwa dibadaha amba wadanki kula jooga.Only parents baan telefoonka ka qabta anigo..as they're the most important pple in my life. All others should wait when i've time or just send me a simple message.Telefoon lagu hadlo wax aan ka necebahy ma jirto.Somalida haday kula so hadlaana maba yaqaanan sida hadalka oo joojiin lahayen...saacado uun bay nacnacda gori siiba naagaha.Aakhirka markay dhigi waayan waxaan dhaha uun, walaalo meel baan ku degdegaya ee macasalaama.

Dont read news and all the headache in the world all the time.Madax xanuun bay kugu ridi.

Nah, I just put my phone on silent. Which means that when I get a call or a text, I reply when I have the time to do so. Having it on its normal mode would keep me at my phone most of the time, now that its a on silent mode, I dont bother with it. Try doing this for 3 days and tell us what you think of it.
