measures to be taken against parliament spoilers!

Post by sahal80 »

Firstly, some of the 90 mps who have been attributed to signing this motion have started taking their words back saying that it was 6 months ago-the first motion against president- and that there has been agreement with villa somalia since then!

Mps r seen now as the biggest obstacle to progress in the country so this choice is not that popular among them and the fact that to dismiss a president you need to secure 183 votes, this after the court accepts the legal bases of the motion!

Jawari has been threatened with a motion

Why jawari received their motion? Bc the agenda behind this motion is to extend the parliaments term by selecting a new interim president, followed by general elections-after two years- some thing the IC will never accept it!

So there some similar scenarios of what happened to the parliament in sharifs last year; banning from them to hold a session for a year though theres a need for new legislations or parliaments approval or role in the ramained 2016 agenda

but theres a hope that this issue will settle peacefully, and then the govt will come up with-after the issue settles- a counter motion against some spoilers in the parliament to dismember them for misbehaving

Evil UAE was behind a non-amisom ethiopian troops spreading to hiiraan from bakool to disturb the djiboutian amisom and the somali govt, sources

in 2011, parliament has fired its speaker sharif hassan and elected a new speaker...after the kampla agreement, both the pm and new speaker adan madobe were forced to resign leading to a period of parliament inactiveness

My fear is that these useless mps r pushing the IC to adopt the ethiopian agenda in somalia as they cant implement a wrstren-sponsored national agenda.

victims of themselves!

Reread my previous post again; scenarios regarding the parliament as a whole, plus the dismemberment plan through a counter motion once the issue settles.

Sahal, what kind of presidential election/selection do you think Somalia is likely to have in 2016?

What kind of electoral system do you personalty prefer? I have seen different ideas proposed for the 2016 selection.

Mps can't take back a motion that they have signed. They can sing songs for the press but there is nothing they can do to squash the motion that they have signed.
