Re: The Reformation, Explained
I agree with you on one thing though. Somalis need to go back to they're traditional roots and forms of Islam before the Saudi/petrodollar salafist-virus brainwashed us into thinking that it's xaraam to use a tusbax, the life of a Palestinian or Syrian is worth more than that of a Somali and we should all obey the wine-swilling king of Saudi Arabia.

Re: The Reformation, Explained
This guy does the following and is still not banned?
1) Rejects clear Sahih ahaadith and mocks the Mahdi whom the Prophet prophesied his very coming(is he implying the Prophet is a liar?)
2) Rejects clear Sahih ahaadith of the definite return of Nabi Jesus (AS) who has not even died yet.
3) Belies the Sahaba, lambasts them as moral failures and blames them for any injustice caused by the Arab slave trade
4) Uses Jewish-owned Washington Post too attack the very core fundementals of islam
5) Implies Allah and his Prophet failed by not fully banning slavery (As was done with al-khamr)

You do know the position those two imams occupy in Islamic scholarship right?Cherine wrote:My goodness what is wrong with these trolls??![]()
Interesting article. I'm glad he touched upon the apocalyptic ahadith being the reason for people emigrating to Syria. That profusion of ahadith talking about the emergence of'Sufiyani' in Syria who will massacare an army from Khorasan[Shiites/Iran], how a Khaliph from the line of the Nabi will rule the World etc etc, is what's lead these people to think the end is nigh and that hijrah is a must to these lands. This is the real reason people are flocking there as opposed to Libya for example. Unfortunately nothing anyone says will ever matter to them because according to them they have Bukhari & Muslim on their side.

Re: The Reformation, Explained
words like reformation, literalist and fundamentalist are loaded western words, they have philosophical and historic context
first, the protestant Christians and their reformation have more incomen with Salafist then they like to admit
second, the word fundamentalist has American subtext which arose during the protestant revivalist
movement of 1800
if there need be reformation we need to reform muslims societies and individual conscience and bring them in line with islamic principles
the biggest obstacles facing muslims is the lack of systematic implementation of islamic principles in a holistic manner, whether in spiritual realm or the political realm
salafist, protestants and the philosophers of science like abdulwahab, martin Luther and Rene Descartes are reductionist, they reduce life to its binary.
western culture is facinating to study but it has notting to offer to the world, its a dead corps starting to smell (Herr Eaglehawk is a great student of western culture)

Re: The Reformation, Explained
The cognitive dissonance in this one is real
There is no reformation in Islam. It's just Islam. There are people who adhere to it and there are those who don't. And if you have criticisms towards the Salafi/Wahhabi extremists, then direct your anger towards them. Don't make this about Islam you deceptive troll.

Speak for yourself you bootlicking slave.Leftist wrote:^^ the irony of a french-poodle, who is happy being a french-poodle, posturing in defense of Islam.
Don't you have a French officer to entertain, possibly at your home "guriga hagaajiya, marti culus baan soo wadaa caawa"
You want to talk about him being a "French poodle"....yet you're the same person who proposes an entire overhaul of our Deen and Islamic society in order for us to imitate and be similar to the West. Instead of putting your trust in Allah and sticking close to the Deen, you would rather sell out core Islamic beliefs in order to make yourself more liked by the Kuffar.
Wallahi if anyone is a poodle, it's you. Look in the mirror and reevaluate your life you worthless bootlicking slave. I bet the cadaan man is super proud of you.
