Are people justifying this robbery on the grounds of an assumption that the old man could have stolen the house initially? The house was bought from the original owner who provided proof of ownership. Odayga didn't provide proof of purchase so he was told to vacate..

And you know this how? Maybe the old man is the one lying and trying to keep a property that doesn't belong to him? Did that ever occur to you?

Lets look at the facts so far:

- The original owner of the house has fled the civil war.

- Shortly after, this man moves into the property with his family and lives there for god knows how long. While also claiming he bought the house from the cad cad guy.

- Fast forward to right now. Two Ceyr women come to his house and inform him he has to move since they bought the house and have the deeds proving it.

- The old man refuses and the case continues for several months.

- Finally, they go downtown and get the city officials involved. The city officials tell the retired Awoowe to move out. But he still refuses.

- They send police officers from the Abdiaziz district and finally evict the retired Awoowe from the premise.

- He goes and cries to the media how he was wrongly evicted and the evil Hawiye are conspiring to take his property.

- The Daroods all back the retired Awoowe and say the house belongs to him, never mind the original owner has backed the two women.

The case now is in the courts, so lets see what happens next.

First I did not know the qabiil of the oldman when I started this topic but I would like to point out about justice , for this case I don't think the retired officer is crying over something which does not belong to him , but this issue of people occupying properties which don't belong to them is a thing which is some thing coming back all the time in Mogadisho and the people which the finger is pointed at who are Hawiye must do something about it without complications or favouring any party wa in loo xaliyo si cadalad ah oo ay somalinimo iyo muslimnimo ku dheehantahay , people of Mogdisho knew each other before 1991 and who owns what and who lives where, si kheyr allah ka dhigo qof walbana xaqiisa siiyo ayada oo somalinimadiisa la tix gelinayo aana qabiil ahaan wax loogu qaban ama wax loogu yeelin.
