the fantastic mind of children

Post by Susu000 »

As I was picking up my kids from daycare I had a peak through the glass door..
My two boys were playing on the floor together.. that is no biggie I know..my boys are 2 and 4..
I asked the teacher if they always play together se said they do and always sit next to eachother during lunch and that the older one is very protective over the younger one.. looks for him and panicks when he disappears for a diaper change and etc.. the thing is at home.. the older one doesnr want to be near the younger one.. always fights him. Doesntt let him touch his toys..

Ive realised that he thinks that because they are not at home when theyre at daycare he feels that he needs to look after him but doesnt feel that way at home..
I think this is fantastic

Children are amazing, provide them with resources and observe them in their natural environment. They'll surprise you.

Reminds me of my boys, who have been fighting each other since birth. One of them was having a stomach ache the other day and stayed over at my mum's house for one night. The other one kept asking me where his brother was. When it was time for me to bring his brother home, he put his coat on and waited for me by the door.
When we got back, they became frenemies again.

May God bless your children Ismail and Susu. The purity of their essence is intact, the same essence that get tainted as we get older and amalgamate the evil and trivial nonsense that exists in this world.

Maybe one day I'll have some of my own that I can guide through life as a parent, companion and mentor.

Amazing, but do you think it is comparable to Somali societies... I mean when Somalis are back in our homelands we compete on everything and fight almost over everything and we are constantly at each other's throats qabiilism but in qurbaha we are peace with each other help each other like true brothers and sisters and when one Somali is hurt/killed we show companion to them and their families for example the recent killing in south Africa every Somali in qurbaha felt deep sadness and many hate sout Africa because of it. But it is all so different when it is in our home lands except when it involves foreigners.?

Great and wonderful tales. My son has no siblings "yet", but his favourite cousin is 4 years older than him. She has autism and he knows it. She is very smart and could only concentrate doing one thing at a time and hates veering out of her daily routine. He is the opposite and always wants to multi-task and do different things at the same time. It takes him ages to finish one task or abandons the whole stuff. But when she completes her only task with perfection, he compliments her. It is amazing to watch how they interact with little rivalry between them. He can't along with her younger brother and avoids meeting or playing with him. When they are together, they always tease and bully one another.

I just taught my niece to pick stuff off the floor and throw it in the trash (with out digging in it). She also thinks "bye bye" means "look for mommy" when the game is on like today.

i love kids and their sense of fairness in very early age before we corrupt them. my sister used to ask my dad, "why God didnt choose a woman to be a prophet, is cause God thinks woman is not strong enoght to be prophet? but he is a God, right? he can make her strong first and make her prophet" she was 4 that time!

i always like to listen their religion questions and answer, i do not know, how about we look for it, if we dont like answer, we just move on until we find the answer that make more sense....

Masha'Allah. My mum use to tell me how If I woke up from a nap and couldn't find my brother I'd wail and he'd do the same, at the same time we couldn't stand each other lol We are still close even though I'm older than him he looks out for me like he's my father.

May Allah protect and preserve ur lil ones folks <3
