Trust me these men are not enjoying life- they are mentally unstable maybe due to years of khat abuse. Most of them probably would do anything to get back to their kids and home but don't know how. And majority of the time the woman had enough.
I know one men who married a woman with 3 boys and they love and respect him like their own father and when their biological father made contact they rejected him. Now they are grown up they praise step father so much are so grateful to him. Any men produce a child if God wills but it takes real man to raise successfully children.

Grandpa, I have no preference. Prophet Muhammad (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) encouraged us to marry the garoob. The idea behind that is the unmarried gabar has more choices than a garoob.
