well, if you talking doha, it's expensive housing but you are an american (which they love out of all western countries) you take a job that includes accomadations.

i heard about french engneer who used to live 5 star hotel suite for whole years, food paid and given work car and personal car. he was like 27!! and paid stupid amount of salary and vacation paid tickets paid. it was a news and wasnt the only one they wasting money on.
