that doesnt mean they wont buy our livestock if we are enemies, we are there number 1 source of livestock, we offer iran our ports and airports in return for diplomatic support and investment, and join eastern block. the arabs will shit their pants and beg us to reconsider since they dont have any proxy they can use against us. ethiopia and them are not on good terms, mogadishu is sterilized, what the F can they do. like sahal said theirs no morals in politics.
and the arabs snake eachother all the time why should we be loyal. by agreeing with saudi we give mogadishu room to breathe. we disagree then they call xamar and ask them hey whats going on with your northern regions and show them they have no authority here. from my observations these somaliland politicians arent serious about recognition, they did some backroom deals awhile ago.

I don't think this has to do with the livestock for two things; its for the muslims as a whole in their pilgrimage season so it cant be politicised...saudis receive our livestock as a whole(3m heads)not as regions and any decision like this will be against somalia
Even so though it will hurt the local economy, I remember djibouti lobbying for....so in this case it wont hurt the pastoralists

The more you have pressure cards the more you get respected like eritrea
The real reasons r attracting the gulf funds but the gulf r not one just like the west where you got France vs England...the UAE is pro-ali salih family (zaydia) in Yemen and strongly against al islah group (a pro-saudi arabian coalition of muslim brotherhood+salafi+tribes)
Finally, after the removal of the houths from sanaa, as a southrener can't rule yemen, a new parliament will elect Ahmed ali salah...this is against al islah-driven spring and Muhsin al ahmar the Saudi man in Yemen replacing ali salah....al islah will lose this like the MB lost it in egypt bc of the UAE...they will be lucky of reer salah accept again their partnership but as a saudi proxy maybe
UAE lobbyes for Eritrea against djibouti in the gulf countries
Egypt has relations with Russia, against a regime change in Syria as anti-political Islam regime
It doesn't mean your declaring a war against any country, just having your own allies and friends like asmara
Afwerkis visit to Saudi Arabia was not successful bc he never announced shit he just went there to see what they can offer....his aim was to isolate djibouti in the kingdom but he saw that she wants both of them, next day he received the houthi officials! This has pissed saudis off so they deleted him totally from their alliance and sent invitation to prez geele, hassan sh and the ethiopian pm
Of course in happy about this one somali position...im just analysing..mm
